GREEN MOONG DAL UTTAPAM(GREEN GRAM UTTAPAM)

Today I will share a healthy breakfast recipe. Which name is Green Moong dal (Green Gram) UTTAPAM. Moong dal (Green Gram) is packed with proteins, low carbs, high fibre. It is one of the vegetarians super food. Green moong dal is full of antioxidants & vitamins like B1, B2, B3, B9, C, E, K also minerals like Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc etc. It has many health benefits. Green moong dal improve heart health, reduce blood pressure, promotes good eyesight, It's manage your body weight, prevents Cancer. It is very good breakfast for growing childrens.


HOW TO MAKE GREEN MOONG DAL UTTAPAM

GREEN MOONG DAL UTTAPAM is a healthy breakfast recipe. Start your morning with delicious, healthy and easy to make green gram uttapam. It's a low calorie, easy to digest, use low oil and perfect recipe for healthy breakfast. You can make it for kids lunch Box or office lunch box. Let's started.

INGREDIENT

Green moong dal ( Green Gram ) - 250 gm ( Submerge in water over night ).
Curd - 1/2 Cup
Onion - 1 Chopped
Capsicum - 1 Chopped
Tomato - 1 Chopped
Green chilli - 2 no.
Ginger - 1/4 Inch
Baking powder - half Teaspoon
Oil - Any white oil.
Salt( According to your taste).

PROCESS

At first take previously water shocked green moong dal (which you have put on water submerge for over night), green chilli, ginger slices, put in a mixer jar & grind all together into a fine paste.


Next take a large bowl, pour the moong dal paste from mixer jar, add curd, baking powder, salt. Mix them very well.


Now chopped onion, capcicum, tomato. You can add other vegetables as your choice keep them in a plate.


Next take a pan, grease oil and heat it. Now one spatula of dal mixture spread into a medium shap thick disc size on the greased pan.

Add some onion pieces, capcicum pieces, tomato pieces on top. Cover & fry (shallow) newly ready UTTAPAM upto golden brown colour on low flame. I use little oil but you can use more oil for fast fry.


If one side is fried flip it another side repeat the process one or two times. Now ready your GREEN MOONG DAL UTTAPAM.

Serve hot with green chutney, tomato sauce or any desire dip. Enjoy...!

USEFUL NOTE

Wash thoroughly the green moong dal ( Green Gram ) & submerge overnight in to the water & allow to shocked water before cooking. May you use coriander leaves and spinach leaves for make GREEN MOONG DAL UTTAPAM.
