EASY AND HEALTHY TOMATO SOUP RECIPE AND WHOLE WHEAT GARLIC BREAD

Today I will share a healthy and easy homemade Tomato Soup recipe. Tomato soup is one of the tastiest and refreshing soup, it's juicy and tangy with nice aroma of ripe tomatoes. Soup made with tomatoes and spices. Soup recipes are always popular choice of appetizers or starter recipe, especially during the outdoor meals. This soup is very healthy for kids as well as adults during winters & monsoons. Tomato Soup is a healing & immune boosting soup. I serve Tomato soup with homemade whole wheat garlic bread. Let's start to describe the recipe step by step.


HOW TO MAKE TOMATO SOUP

INGREDIENT

Tomato - 6-8 ( roughly chopped )
Ginger - 2 Inch ( slices )
Garlic - 3- 4 cloves
Onion - 1 no. ( Slices )
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Bayleaf - 1 no.
Black pepper corn - 8- 10
Green cardamom - 1
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Coriander stems - 1/4 cup
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Salt according to your taste.
Water as required.

PROCESS

Take a pressure cooker add butter, heat it. Add cumin seeds, onion slices, garlic, ginger slices. Saute them for 2-3 minutes.
Then add tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, coriander stems, black pepper corn, bayleaf, green cardamom, water as required. Close the lid and give it 2-3 whistle and keep it for cool down.


Next blend the tomato mixture into a fine slurry with a hand blender or mixer grinder. Strain it with a soup strainer.

Pour the strainer mixture in a karai & add sugar, black pepper powder. Mix it and boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Maintain the thickness of soup as your choice. Switch off the flame.

Now, Your hot tomato soup is ready to serve. You can serve Tomato soup with bread croutons or garlic bread.One tablespoon cream may you take with the soup for garnishing. 

Now enjoy the goodness of fresh juicy tomatoes. 


HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE WHOLE WHEAT GARLIC BREAD

INGREDIENT

Whole wheat flour - 2 cup
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Curd ( sour ) - 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Milk/ water - as required
Butter - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 2 tablespoon ( finely chopped )
Some mix herb

PROCESS

FOR MAKING DOUGH

Take a bowl add whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, oil, curd. Mix them very well. Next add milk or water for make a soft dough. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes with electric beater or your hand. Then put some oil on the dough for make it smooth. Cover it for one hour.

FOR GARLIC BUTTER

Now take a pan add butter and garlic in it, cook it on medium flame. Add some mix herbs in it. Garlic butter is ready. Keep it aside for cooling down . There after keep it in the refrigerator.

FOR MAKING BREAD 

At first preheat your oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.After one hour knead the dough for a minute and divided the dough into two parts. Dust some wheat flour on the board, take one part dough spread it by using hands and apply garlic butter on it. 


Fold the bread and seal outside properly. You can use water or fork for sealing. Spread some garlic butter, mix herbs on outer surface of the bread by using a brush.

Now take a baking tray, grease it with butter. Dust some wheat flour on it. Bake it for 20-22 minutes at 180°C.


Your whole wheat garlic bread is ready.

USEFUL NOTE

Here, I have made a whole wheat garlic bread without yeast, If you want to use yeast, take lukewarm water in a bowl add 1 tablespoon yeast and 2 teaspoon sugar, mix it and rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix it with whole wheat flour and make a soft dough ( Use water as required ). Rest it for fermentation 1 or 2 hours now dough is ready, bake it. May you use cheese & corn for making cheese garlic bread.
