KARAISHUTI R NATUN ALOOR DUM|BABY POTATOES CURRY

Today I will share a KARAISHUTIR NATUN ALOOR DUM ( Peas and Baby potatoes curry) in bengali style. It is very tasty and mouthwatering recipe. Let's started.

HOW TO MAKE KARAISHUTI R NATUN ALOOR DUM

INGREDIENTS

Boiled baby potatoes ( Natun aloo ) - 500 gm
Onion paste - 2 medium size
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon 
Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Tomato paste - 1 medium size
Normal curd - 2 tablespoons
Grated coconut - 1 tablespoon
Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon ( chopped )
Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 6 tablespoons

FOR TEMPERING

Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Bayleaf - 2 no.
Green cardamom - 2 no.

PROCESS

At first take boiled baby potatoes and peel the potatoes. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix them well and keep it aside.

Take a pan, pour oil and heat it. Add cumin seeds, bayleaves and green cardamom. Saute for one minute.

Then add onion paste, fry for few minutes. Now add ginger garlic paste, saute well.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder. Mix them and saute well.

Add tomato paste, mix it and saute.

Then add beaten curd, mix it. Stir and roast the masala until oil separates.

Now add peas, fried baby potatoes and grated coconut. Mix them well and fry for two minutes.

Pour water as required, add sugar, garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves. Mix them and cover with a lid. Cook for 5 minutes.

Now ready your KARAISHUTIR NATUN ALOOR DUM. You serve this recipe with chapati, paratha, jeera rice and kichdri. Enjoy.
