SOYA DALIA KHICHDI | HEALTHY DALIA RECIPE

Today I will share a healthy Soya Dalia Khichdi Recipe. Dalia or broken wheat is healthy ingredients in Indian homes. Dalia also known as Bulgar, Fada, Lapsi, broken wheat. It contains fiber, iron, magnesium, protein, carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals. Dalia is a complete meal, it is ideal for weight loss. It is wonderful food for people of all age groups. It is ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dalia is easy to digest and full of nutrition. It is very good for babies and kids. Easy to make, you can eat daily Dalia. Here I use Soya nuggets with Dalia. Let's started.


HOW TO MAKE SOYA DALIA KHICHDI

INGREDIENTS

Dalia or broken wheat - 1 cup
Yellow split moong dal - 1/2 cup
Soya nuggets - 100 gm ( small size)
Potato - 1 no. ( Cut into small pieces)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Tomato - 2 no. ( Chopped)
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Green chilli - 2 no.
Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Bayleaf - 2 no.
Dry red chilli - 2 no.
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Mustard oil - 2 tablespoon ( you can use any oil)
Fresh peas - 1/2 cup
Hot water - 3 cup ( as required )

PROCESS

At first roast dry moong dal and Dalia for 2-3 minutes. Wash moong dal and Dalia , strain and keep it aside.

Now take Soya nuggets and soak in hot water for half an hour. Then squeeze Soya nuggets. Take a pan add little oil, heat it. Add soya nuggets fry for 2- 3 minutes. Remove from the pan and keep it aside.

Take a karai, pour mustard oil on it and heat it. Add cumin seeds, bayleaf and dry red chilli. Saute for one minute.

Now add ginger paste, saute. Add chopped tomatoes, salt. Saute well.

Take a bowl, add turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Pour little water and make a paste. Add this paste in same karai. Saute it.

Next add potato pieces, saute for few minutes.

Add moong dal and Dalia. Mix them, pour 3 cup hot water over it & add sugar and salt. Mix well.

Now cover with a lid and cook until everything is well cooked.

Now ready healthy SOYA DALIA KHICHDI. May you garnish with coriander leaves and serve & enjoy the test of DALIA KHICHDI.
